The Computer Programming and Development Unit was established at the beginning of 2006 with the aim of finding comprehensive administrative and academic software solutions for the university, in addition to creating computerized solutions for the local community institutions. The unit contains a team of Microsoft certified programmers and engineers. It has performed many administrative and academic systems and applications to the university and some local institutions. The computerized systems implemented by the unit include admission registration systems, and student accounting system and link it with banks. The unit is currently working on the development of the university's academic portal.
 
Web Development:
This unit aims at  designing  and developing  the University portal on the internet and the different  colleges websites, using the latest web technologies.  It is responsible for updating the web contents, in coordination with the University  colleges and  administrative and academic units. It  is also responsible for  creating and designing  websites for the conferences and projects carried out by the University as well as developing many web applications for  the services  provided  by the Computer Center and some University departments such as the e- employment site.
